So Silver was redeemed early in the book for me. However, she does some good things for people she treats badly, and is much deeper than you would think. I thought I would hate Silver in this book since she was such a mean girl in the earlier books in the series, but that is all explained in this book and deep down she is just too scared to let anybody close to her for herself and for them (she cut ties with Kim because she knew her Mother would give Kim a complex if they stayed friends). He is a bit of a Silver Stalker also, he knows everything she does and most of the reasons why. Nobody does since he keeps everything to himself. Though I really liked Cole in previous books, I found out that we really didn’t know him at all. I don’t know why someone so dark and dangerous is so hot, but Cole is all that and a bag of chips! But he has an iron control and a photographic memory. Cole is not only dark, he might be a psychopath. Man, I thought Aiden (Devious King) was dark and twisty but Cole blows him out of the water. ![]() ![]() ![]() Every time I read a book from Rina Kent it seems to be better than the last. ![]() ![]() ![]() A copy of the book is not included in this set of resources. The pleasures of this great yarn are not just its full heart but its clever head. Racculia, clearly a fan of Agatha Christie, stuffs the Bellweather with a fine cast of misfits and dreamers and foes. For everyone has come to the Bellweather with a secret, and everyone is haunted.įull of knowing nods to the shivery pleasures of suspense and the transporting power of music, this is a wholly winning new novel from a writer lauded as “charming” ( Los Angeles Times), “witty” ( O, The Oprah Magazine), and “whimsical” ( People). With The Sweetness of Water, Harris has, in a sense, unwritten Gone With the Wind, detonating its phony romanticism, its unearned sympathies, its wretched racism.” ―Richard Russo, Pulitzer Prize-winning and New York Times bestselling author of Bridge of Sighs The result is better than any debut novel has a right to be. I love the movies, I think they are awesome regardless of what anyone says. I watched my dad play the others in the series and now I watch my boyfriend play the more recent games. I even had a go myself but quit after that zombie dog jumps through the window, I threw the playstation controller down and hid behind the door, leaving Jill to die a horrible death. At the time I thought it was one of the scariest things I'd ever seen and I watched my dad play the whole game. Back in 1996 my dad brought home a game for our playstation called Resident Evil. ![]() ![]() Morstad pays further homage to Fujikawa by including accurate reproductions of her signature drawings of children and babies - beloved heros and heroines of Fujikawa’s many racially diverse books for young children.
